Getting messy is a crucial part of development for children, which is why Play 2 Progress would like to take you and your little one on a “Journey Through the Senses!” Designed for toddlers and preschooler-aged children, this class is led by an occupational therapist and expert in child development and sensory integration. Our goal is to expose our students to a wide array of materials and sensations to facilitate growth, creativity, and independence, while at the same time explaining the importance of this development journey to parents. Each week, we will learn about two or three of the body’s seven sensory systems (that’s right, seven!) and facilitate play through process art. We welcome children ages 2-4 with a parent, grandparent, nanny, or other important adult in their lives.
